Let me try....

To write a story.

There was a lady,

We'll call her Shirley.

She was old and alone.

A spinster, living with her cat Pussems.

In an old house at Jalan Ampang.

Every morning, Shirley would wake up,

give Pussems his milk,

wash up,

make breakfast,

and read the papers.

At night she was Shirley the Superwoman.

Pussems was her trusty sidekick, Pussy.

She could fly in the air,

Shoot laser beams from her eyes,

Lift a piano with one finger,

Knit a hundred sweaters in a minute.

Yes, that's Shirley.

A nice little old woman by day,

Bad-ass superwoman by night.

Didn't see that one coming did ya?

What? You mean old people can't be superheroes too?

Shame on you! Don't discriminate.

I think they'd make pretty cool superheroes.

Imagine grandmas and grandpas flying around in leotards and capes.

Underwear inside out.

Lifting heavy objects..... Without breaking their backs.

Nice world to live in, don't you think?

Things To Do Before I Go For Internship

1. Pick up my driving.

Considering that I'm going to work, I don't think I want to mafan people into sending me to work.
Plus it's all the way in Bangsar, the not-so-holy place where all traffic jams occur. I doubt I want to depend on public transport either, in case I have to reach home late, that's not safe at all.

And I'm a big girl now lah. High time I start depending on my own transport.

2. Figure out faster not-so-jammed way from Bandar Sri Damansara to Bangsar.

Based on statement above, I do not want to be caught in traffic jams all the time.

3. Buy more OL clothes.

It's internship. Nuff said.

4. Learn to wear heels.

Woo Eileen and heels do not agree. That is, till she needs to start working.

5. Buy a new bag.

My current one is dying. As much as I love it, I'll have to let it go.

6. Re-dye my hair, and do something about my fringe.

My hair color is fading, and I really miss my red hair. My fringe ah..... Well, it's becoming a bother, really. Blocking my face at times, it covers my face and looks very untidy.

7. Buy more jeans.

Anyone who's gone to college with me know I normally wear shorts, occasionally jeans, once in a while skirts, and when I wear a dress, they can go buy lottery already. Don't think my employer will be too happy with me dressing like that though.

8. Read up or reread the briefs I've had to do back in Account Management.

Oh, yes, I'm working as an Account Executive. So I'll need to recall how to write these things.

9. Finish Semester 5

Internship in Sem 6, haven't finished Sem 5 how to go Sem 6? Ish.

Going Back

If you had the power of time travel,

Or the choice to travel through time,

Would you take it?

If you asked me,

I wouldn't.

I mean, it'd be nice to correct our past mistakes,

To make it all right.

But when I really think about it,

It's those mistakes,

Those flaws that I hate,

Those things I did and that I regret,

That make me who I am.

You see, people make mistakes.

It's part of human nature.

Doesn't matter who you are, you're bound to make these mistakes.

But the best part of it all is that you learn from them,

And try not to make them again.

No matter how huge the mistake it is,

I personally feel that as long as you learned something, it's all that matters.

Which is also why I believe in second chances.

And also why I believe in constant forgiveness.

Because we're all human.

There's no point bitching about each other, really.

For all you know you might make a bigger mistake than others.

And honestly, if we could all travel through time and correct every mistake,

We'd have a perfect world.

And to me, that's pretty boring.

It's these little quirks in our world that makes it so interesting, don't you agree?

I'll end this with one of my favorite quotes:

"God doesn't give you the people you want,

He gives you the people you need.

To hurt you,

To love you,

To teach you,

To break you,

To turn you into the person you're supposed to be."

A Good Thing

It's something most of us are never really grateful for.

Till it's too late.

Humans are such funny creatures.

It's weird how we never truly appreciate the people who matter, till they're gone.

And it's weird how most of us never really realize that.

Till it happens to us.

I guess we all need a reality check, once in a while.

We all think "Nah, it's never gonna happen to me."

The truth is, it can happen to anybody.

You may be lucky enough for it to "never happen to you".

In one split second, you could lose the one thing that matters most to you.

And by that time, it may be too late to get it back.

That's what we all lack, I think.

If the world just appreciated more, cared more, we'd have less fights.

I have a friend whose dad just passed away.

As I listened to his story, it hit me.

His dad was around my dad's age.

And his dad died of a heart attack.

It is the saddest thing anyone could face.

In just one moment, his entire life is changing.

And there isn't much that he can do about it.

All I'm saying is, we need to appreciate more.

Love more.

The little things a person does for you do matter.

Even though you'd feel that it's not much,

You'd notice them even more when the person is gone.

It'd be too late to appreciate them by then.

I don't know about you, but I don't want to end up regretting the fact that I never appreciated the people that matter in my life.

So take note.

Love more.

At the very least, whenever there are changes, you will have no regrets.

Because you can tell yourself, you did what you could.

While it lasted.

Someone, please help me understand

Justin Bieber, ladies and gents.

How this guy can have so many mentally unstable (YES MENTALLY UNSTABLE) fans?
The little psychos sent death threats to Kim Kardashian just 'cos he called her his girlfriend (APPARENTLY untrue. I don't follow tabloid.)

I mean hello? He's a 16 year old who squeaks like a mouse. He sounds like a girl. CAN YOU PEOPLE NOT SEE THAT? I mean, is he even a HE? By normal standards, or as far as I know, by the time a guy hits 16, his voice gets deep.

I swear, the minute his voice breaks, his career ends.

If his voice never breaks, I swear he's a SHE in disguise.

I suppose he can sing lah, I mean, to give him the benefit of the doubt, his voice is okay....... If he were a girl.

I watched one of his interviews for the first time (I refused to have anything to do with him prior to this entry), and the moment he spoke I nearly fell off my chair.

I mean picture this, oh wait you don't have to picture it, here's the video!

I pretty much expected his voice to sound at least a little like a teen boy, but holy cow, this boy in a soon-to-be man's body strolls in and the minute he talks.... It's a squeak.

And is it just me, or do his lyrics lack creativity?

Sure, his songs are long enough to qualify as a "song", but there sure are a lot of repeats of the same words.

Exhibit A:

Baby - Justin Bieber

I don't know, I lost count of the number of times he sang "baby" and "oh".

Honey, that is not creativity. That we call "copy paste". I cannot tell you how many times I've suffered every time this song played on the radio. Dear Lord, make it stop.

And it gets stuck in my head for an annoyingly long time. Dear God please take it away!

I'm sure most of you have heard his songs already, so I'm not gonna put any more up here.

Seriously, how can anyone get turned on by this, unless the person is a pedophile? Now I am not saying his fans are pedophiles, there is a question mark at the end of that sentence. The purpose of that is to leave it ambiguous.

So I don't know. All I see is a little boy (or is it a girl) in a supposedly growing man's body prancing around singing songs that honestly lack creativity.

Can someone please tell me what is so sexually appealing?

Big Bang's Top - Solo.

Now that's what I call a manly voice. He has the manliest voice I've ever heard so far. And boy is it deep. *swoons*

Robin Thicke - Lost Without You

Now that's a sexually appealing voice. This guy can turn me on in one note. Mm.

I'm gonna have Justin Bieber psycho fan death threats now, aren't I?

Once Upon a Time

I have nothing to write. When I have nothing to write, I abandon the blog. And so I stopped writing for days. The days turned into weeks and before I knew it it was a month.

Let's see how long this continues. I don't know. I am technically writing something now. But seriously this has no particular topic.

I'd sing a song but the screen is blocking and no I will not post a video of myself singing on YouTube. I refuse to humiliate myself, really. Not that people would want to listen to me anyway.

My singing is exclusively reserved for the walls of my bathroom. Oh yes it's that bad.

Have I ever mentioned that I like Glee? Yes this caveperson has finally gotten out of the confines of her cave to watch one of the most popular series around and I must say it is good! I like how they made the songs relevant to every episode.

I must admit I was skeptical of how a musical could be made into a series, and be successful. I humbly admit I was wrong.

So I have no idea why I'm posting this, I have some research to catch up on but I guess I'm just really bored. Yes this post is to waste my time because I have nothing better to do. This is really out of the blue I'm just throwing words in now.

I think I better stop before someone throws a shoe or food or something or whatever they throw at people who are bad at entertaining oh wow I haven't put a full stop or a comma in this sentence it must be exhausting reading this I bet you're really annoyed now aren't you? :)

Oh god shut up and do your assignments, Eileen.
